DOOGA DAY FUNDRAISER 2024 - McKay Drilling

The 31st July 2024 will be the fourth anniversary of the tragic loss of one of our colleagues, Josh “Dooga” Jones.

In his honour and memory, we continue our annual remembrance day ‘Dooga Day’.

This year we have teamed up with MATES in Construction WA, also known as MATES in Mining to support them to make ‘suicide everyone’s business’. MATES provides suicide prevention through community development programs on sites, and by supporting workers in need through case management and a 24/7 help line. MATES serve the construction industry in Queensland and Northern Territory, New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia, as well as in Queensland to the Energy sector and nationally to the Mining sector.

The 2024 Dooga Day Fundraiser is now LIVE. The fundraising campaign will run till World Suicide Prevention Day, 9th September 2024 and the raffle will be drawn on 10th September 2024. Draw results will be available on our website.
