Did you know 22nd November is National Mining & Related Industries Day?
A day that recognises the contributions that the Mining Industry makes to Australia. Mined minerals can be found in most places; in your home, your workplace, in your vehicle, in your mobile phones and TV’s. Even the machines used to make the goods need mined minerals to manufacture them.
The demand for these minerals is immense and will continue to be. The National Mining Day is also an opportunity to start conversations about what is impacting the industry in regards to supply, skilled shortages and Government taxes.
The Mining Industry contributes more to Australia than any other industry so it is important to acknowledge the role it plays in supporting our nation.
